NX 2013> June 2015 New Bus Orders & Potential Buses For Withdrawl

Probably next to nothing due to the hoardes of ex london ones with probably less miles on the clock and exhaust traps as well which NX ones dont have

I think Ex- London vehicles would have a lot more miles on the clock than our buses

Depends on what route they have been on. London buses tend to be slower so do less miles per hour but if they have been on a 24 hour route they have more chance to build up miles

Does anyone expect NX to announce 2014's new buses orders anytime soon? Possibly during or following Coach & Bus Live from 2nd/3rd Oct

With current lead times for ADL/Wright Bus, and the first of the new orders possibly due Feb 2014 I'd expect NX to be very close to placing firm orders for the first batches at least

ive spoken to someone at the Wolverhampton depot and they have said the 21 spectras r been replaced before Christmas there some new 63 plates buses on way enviros 400 to there to replace them should be here before October there is a delay on the order now there some more new buses comeing in the new year in march 2014 to replace the plaxton Volvos double deckers don't now how many comeing but axl400 dennis tridents r not to be replace but all the old buses mercs r to be replace by new single deckers plus can someone tell me where they r storing any buses I now there is some in miller street is lea hall bus depot still storeing buses steve

I think someone at Wolverhampton garage has been making up there own replacement plans which don't seem to match what I have been told by the person that does the movements

Precisely. Spectra fans have nothing to worry about for a good while yet.

Its fairly easy to siphon out waffle from the truth.

Tbh i do moan about about the amount of Spectras on the 59 (Prefer more tridents) but Spectras are still some of my favourite Double Deckers. Better than the 61 plate E400 plastics! (4885-4913 aren't as bad as the 61 plates).

Just popped into Walsall and 4056 is there waiting painting after full external re panelling.  Not looking like it is due replacement next year. Mind 1642 is also at the paint shop

So was 4056. They were both done a good few years ago now so they obviously need redoing again to smarten them up

Plus Mercs are to be withdrawn. Seems a strange choice to repaint again.

I was under the impression not all Mercs at PE will be withrawn yet (Tridents and B7RLE's to PE with the worst mercs withdrawn)
