4296 on the 82/87 today. No excuse for an ALX400 on there on a Sunday

Not really rare or that unusual really. I would say it is sligtly unusual as the majority of buses on the 51 are 61 plate E400's

Well, they do need buses for the 400 today (and tomorrow), I suppose they'd prefer to use Geminis over the ALX400 B7s!
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

Is the 400 shuttle service usually fully Gemini or does it use ALX400 or Presidents?

The last time I was in West Bromwich (regularly) on a Sunday, the 400 used Metrobuses!  ;)

To be honest I don't know what they normally use, I was only responding to Matt's statement about 'no excuse' for ALX400 B7 on the 82/87 today.

So they use the branded Geminis on this shuttle service?..

If a change bus is needed at short notice, you take the easiest bus to get at so you can keep the service running, you don't waste time digging a branded Gemini out of some hidden corner of the garage

4017 and 4021 on WN 28 today :)

4022 too...

I seen 4017 on the 28 yesterday but Didn't think it was unusual

One Spectra being on there isn't really unusual but 3 or 4 were on there yesterday

In fact 5 different buses were sighted on the 28 yesterday, which is strange given the 28 has a PVR of 3

Last year it was a right mixture, just depends what they can spare really

4632 on 900 today, assume it was a case of not enough Enviros parked at the front of the garage?
