Yes I had noticed a lack of deckers on the 8/89 lately. The 89 doesn't seem to need deckers that much though

Ashley 4569

Probably less of a need for deckers on the 8/89 in the summer, as much as i like deckers on the 70A, others would say its overkill, maybe the 10 or 301 would be better routes for them?

lynx1103

Residents from Field Lane/Trevor Road moan about double deckers being on there.  Since school holidays double deckes aren't required as much.

And then they moan when they moan their bus gets packed!

Sure i saw a trident on the 89 in Wednesfield today. Have noticed lighter loadings since the start of the holidays but you do still get packed B7RLE's (On the Wednesfield-W'ton end at least)

Ashley 4569

89 has packed !7RLEs from Walsall to Pelsall as well.

This nonsense of complaints from people living on the route, are any of them bus users or just people with naff all else to do other than moan at somebody

Seemed to be quiet on that end today.

Does the loadings & frequency justify double deckers on the 301?

If the frequency was 10 mins or less, Id say yes.

The only times I see a full single decker on the Track is as a result of delays in the evening peak where the buses 'go missing' between 5 & 530, due to delays on Bloxwich High St.

At other times, Id say no.

Ashley 4569

Packed buses on the 10/10A brownhills to walsall bound at 9am the other morning and one or two around 3pm yesterday same direction, 4734 wasnt that full so its a changeable one i guess

Today,

5514 - 529
4875 - 77
4289 - 907
4305 - 935
4138 - 70A
4734 - 10A
4008 - 529
Omnicity - 67

These 2 are not that unusual Matt. OmniCitys on the 67 happen quite a bit, especially in the peak. There was one on there Tuesday as well.

I do agree that the 907 is mostly ran by Geminis but you still can get the 42**s on there

The 907 is Omnicity operated now, John. Every other bus on there yesterday was an Omnicity. No Geminis as far as I could see

Can vary by day to day, would say Geminis are as used as much as the Scanias. Also not uncommon for ALX400s to appear (usually one nearly every day).

Scania/Enviro? Do you mean there was both an E400 and an Omnilink on the 3?

There's a thread for breakdowns on the forum Nathan (Incase you weren't aware)
