Yes the 256 used to interwork with the old 259 route didn't it as that was WN operated?

The 256/7 had 3 single deckers Yesterday! 1677,2027 and another B7RLE

One hasn't appeared for a bit so quite unusual. At one point they were on several times a week in the evening

the 256 also used to interwork with the 255/254(or 255E)/257 at one stage...

Thats right Nathan. That was then there was the 254/255 (Both Merry Hill - Wolverhampton) and 256/259, and the 257 ran by Pensnett.

I think it was the Wolverhampton network review that started the changes. The 254 was shortened to Merry Hill to Wall Heath replacing the 259, which was then withdrawn.

I can not remember if this was the time where the 257 was taken over by Wolverhampton caused by the 256 not interworking with anything in Stourbridge.

Then the 254E was renumbered 255E to get rid of the 2 different numbers, as the 254E and 255 went the same route

John,

I think it may have been the Dudley review?

The Dudley review withdrew the 260 and replaced it with the 254/255 both going Merry Hill - Wolverhampton and 259 WallHeath to Stourbridge!

2013 on 126
WN b6 on 126

A B6LE on the 126?! That's a very good spot, indeed. Extremely rare.

Infact Ultra rare!NXWM Breaking the emission rule again!

Do B6s have BIRMINGHAM on their blinds?
[/quote

From my experience of the ones that used to be loans to BC, when B6s operated the 636 / 99, many of them only have 'Park & Ride' on their blinds dozens of times over.

4826 on 244 this evening, just rode it on the 21:46 out of Halesowen to Dudley.

The driver completely missed out Old Hawne Lane, because there was a match on at the football ground and he expected to be unable to get past parked cars with a great big Enviro. He instead went along Furnace Lane and Whittingham Road, then resumed normal line of route. He also said he was taking half the trees with him!
