Although not unusual but most if not all the mercs on the 45 today are the T and V reg ones wonder if quite a few of the R and S reg ones have been withdrawn and moved out of WB.

Two more are likely to have been withdrawn as a result of 4057 & 4085 transferring across from YW, I expect 4056 will also follow. So that would make potentially 3 more R/S-reg Mercs to go/gone

I prefer the presidents to the alx400's at WB as there in a terrible state apart from the handful that have been refurbished so shame they cant be used on the 74 and 75. It would be a sad day when the R and S reg mercs leave West Brom as most have been there most of there lives or at least for the majority of them 1582/5/6/9 are 4 that have been at WB since new as they were for the 74. The others have traveled around a bit.

4085 on the 48 today. (1582, 1589, 1599 and 1607 noted still in service)

Thanks, wonder if 824 was on there today?
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

The ALX400's will be pretty decent buses when they are finally refurbished, they need to now be done as priority especially if there are no plans to upgrade the Soho Rd services with new/newer double deckers

The soho road is one of the busiest corridors out of Birmingham and the last new buses for the 74 was the mercs in 1998 and back then the 79 was the tridents in 2002 which have now gone along with the route, so is deservedly of new buses or at least some refurbished ones but WB never seems to be front of the queue for new buses .

The whole Solo Rd fleet needs to be fully refurbished at the very least as I don't think a new fleet is likely anytime soon. If the opening of the New Square shopping centre increases the number of bus passengers using WB routes & ultimately NXWM profits. You may find WB are on the receiving end of a new batch of buses to improve the average age there......

E400 on the 276 all day. Not that unusual now though.

Unless 4503-4514 and 4517-4534 are branded for the Soho Road which would leave 4635-4642 and 4227-4233, 4248, 4264-4275 and 4290-4299 to be used along side the gemini's on the Soho Road and used on the 80/82/83/87/89/127/128/129. Not sure what the PVR so maybe not all of those gemini's would be branded but there in a far better state than the alx400 all have the NXWM livery, some have been refurbished and are newer than the alx400's. Also installing hanover displays like 4635 has would make them look much better.

E400 on the 276 all day. Not that unusual now though.

With E400's spare off the 9 during summer timetable they regularly appear on the 120/276/X96

4543 and 2024 were on the 1 today along with 4560 which does an afternoon(stays on till late evening) and with a Spectra on there yesterday there must be a couple of hybrids missing
