Some spare operate as said the 24 and the 59/60

The instruction in the garage is that any spare Hybrids and E400s should be allocated to the 24

There were two signs up, one saying spare allocation to 24/59/60 and one just 24. The former has now been dismissed.

By the way Tone, were you on time without rushing when you were on the 14?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Operates like the 59 in Wolverhampton-Tridents with any hybrids spare on there (Usually 3-4 spare mon-fri during summer timetable)

Still find it ridiculous that the 24 gets any spare hybrids and E400s. Yeah, because it's not like Harborne has had any investment recently...

Also I saw a President on Colmore Row operating the 89 earlier :)

Will this become more common now some Presidents have transferred over from YW?

I imagine so. It's already an everyday thing

How long have Presidents been operating on a daily basis as last week it was still mainly mercs with a few Geminis. Also one question Does the 49 ever have double decks and if so how often do they appear. Only ever seen Mercs, B6's and a E200 which was on a sunday (When it interworks with the 47/A)

I saw a Gemini on there once, but I'm pretty sure that's the only time I've seen a decker on there

Since Wednesday. I live on both routes, so I expect to see more and more of them, as Presidents transfer from YW to WB. The 49 used to have 2 deckers a day, this changed after timing amendments were given to the 47/A & 49, the 49 is now all Mercs, with B6s in evenings and E200s on Sundays
