Did the 10:00 operate.
Nothing turned up at 10:00, but when I got on 4661 and when it got to the bottom of Stechford Lane, I saw you and a few other drivers taking 733  up Stechford Road toward Buckland End, between about 10:05 - 10:10.
Was it 733?

Unfortunately at 10:00 I was still sorting out a second bus. 2222 wasn't a bad substitute was it?

733 was being driven by someone else taking me to Aldridge to collect 4714, although when I got there they offered 2222 instead which came straight from the museum to do the 12:00

Just want to say a quick thank you to everyone involved in organising today's event. Had a fantastic time. Was great chatting to the stall holders and reminiscing over some of the old routes... and the birthday cake was lovely!

Thanks for the info, just wandered where 733 was going.

It was amazing, I left to go on the Olympian for a ride after a while so I missed the cake, but I guess that's good for my diet at least! I do regret missing the one at WB due to illness but I'm so glad that I made it out today.

Well done to the organisers for today's event, the programme was well worth the £3.

Tony, I had a good ride on BCT 2222 from AG to Kings Heath and back, much better than a VR.

The next event is likely to be a running day on the 10A route at Walsall on the 11th August. If it comes off we are hoping to run the service using 2957, 3225, 4601, 4453 and hopefully a surprise as well

What did you all get from the acocks green open day folks

I grabbed a scanner, a couple of ticket rolls and post it notes from the one stall and then a bunch of old TWM photographs, oh and some great memories too! :D

Just the £3 programme, but I did buy that Ulead Dvdmaker software off the one stall for £4.99.

If it dont work on my system, I'll take it up the charity shop!

That would be an excellent way of promoting the new service as well.

Any chance of a flyer leaflet that can be downloaded / shared, if this comes off?

Out of all of the open days i've been to, Acocks Green's latest definitely ranks highly - a good selection of buses on view, very well organised and fantastic to go on the open topper. Also a brilliant programme, well worth £3 - some of the photos are a blast from the past! I think everyone involved should give themselves a pat on the back. Really looking forward now to Walsall's running day and YW open day.
