I'm told by some of my former colleagues at AG that there's a notice in the drivers room stating that from March, the 58 is withdrawn.

The 31 is part of the Solihull tenders commencing 24th February, so it's already gone.

I saw that coming from the day it was changed...

The 31 is going. It's apparantly been lost on tender to Silverline.

Be nice if they extend it to Solihull town centre, probably mean the route isn't so pointless, but can't see that happening.

It's because of the running time. It's 26-27 mins each way. 54 mins leaving just 6 mins to spare to a) accomdate driver changes and b) incorporate the Town Centre.

You can do it, but it'll leave no breathing space for the slightest delays.

@National2 X12 is a Platinum route, so a Platinum bus is not noteworthy.
