I find it amazing that even though the vehicle has been transferred to AG 6709 is still displaying stickers inside for the 900/X1

We had 2503 at Lea Hall for years with branding for the 51 upstairs.

Few of the WN Tridents which have transferred to YW still had posters regarding black county services.

It was just a little bit strange on the 966 to look up and see the 900 route map haha

This may be a silly question but has the 5 always been an AG route? I always thought that the 5/6 would operate from the same garage.

This has also occurred to me before. I once posted that a "B7RLE was on the 5/6" - which was when it was first brought to my attention that they hadn't been operating from the same garage for a while. (especially since YW don't operate B7RLEs lol)

the photo of 4370 on the 5 seems to show it was a YW prior to AG, if I'm not mistaken. ;) There was also a 5A route? ???
Point is, there's plenty of photos on the main site of Tridents operating the 5(A) which seems to indicate that the route(s) haven't always been at AG.  :)

The Stratford Road group of services S3, 4, 5 and 6 (S3 was replaced by rerouting the 4 which was in turn withdrawn by rerouting the 5) were all YW operated. The 5 passed to AG I think at the time that the 76 was extended to the QE and transferred to YW. Some years back the routes were:
S3 City - Baldwins Lane / Shirley Station
4 City - Cheswick Green
5 City - Widney (peak only)
6 City - Solihull

The 5 as it is now was introduced at the Solihull Review, which was in 2009. At this time it was operated by YW, while AG operated the 76, which at the time ran between Damsonwood and Pool Farm. The 76 was shortened to Solihull-Kings Heath, with the S1 replacing the loop around Damsonwood.

It was a few months later, that the two routes swapped garages, possibly as part of the South Birmingham Review in 2009?

At the time I was working on Highlands Road in Shirley, and one day noticed the 5 was being operated by Geminis, rather than Tridents.

My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to QE Hospital | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

The 5A was the 6 between Birmingham and Shirley and the 5 between Shirley and Solihull.

Early morning journeys from Birmingham. It was basically faster to get to Monkspath/Solihull 6th Form than the regular 5. I believe it's now run by YW as the 6A.

The 6A is a slightly different route to the 5A; goes straight down Monkspath Hall Road, rather than around the estate
