Thanks, just seen it myself. Bit of a surprising move, to be honest, but then again when traffic is bad it can take a while to get round there on and off the Warwick Road, and there doesn't seem to be many passengers getting on and off there. No doubt there will end up being a petition started and the service being reinstated!
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

37 not serving Olton Station sounds like a plan. Right waste of time turning in there all the time. Especially in the MMCs where the turning circle is not so great.

Kevin

Guessing they'd just put a stop on the main road for the area. Face it most people on the 37 are doing near as damn it the same route as the train and wouldn't really be getting on or off there. The other routes in the area serve the station as more of a connection with the trains. You couldn't even really say that the 37 connects with other buses there because they all connect with it elsewhere on the route as well
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

4101 has got a mega rear, to my surprise. Not sure why it's come out sideways.

One of them was at Five Ways on the 1 at about 19:45.

Yeah 4102s got one. It was on the 1 today so it must be the one that was seen today by 2206.

Tony

Freshly painted 4524 is out for the first time today on the 37

It'll be a real nuisance for me as that's where I get on. Now I'll have to cross over the busy A41 and walk to the stop near the railway bridge. And if a 30 or 96 came to the stop at the station I could jump on them to Acocks Green. Still, it will save three or four minutes on the 37.

Would have seen you @Tony if I hadn't of just come back from the Potteries rally as the Cross City is my local line!

Just seen that the 37 will no longer serve Olton Station from May 29th. Does anyone know why it will no longer serve it?
There are no notices anywhere at Olton that say the 37 will stop serving the station in 6 days, nor any on the E200s. I wonder if the rerouting has been postponed or cancelled.
