Is there a problem with inbound 72's at the moment as I waited for over an hour on Chipperfield Road as the 08/28 & 48 buses from 1pm to 2pm never showed up eventually I walked home as much p'd off. I caught the 11:30 72 to town ok but none of the others turned up. the 3 to Solihull Station went past although the 01 & 21 were nearly 10mins late but the 41 was on time at the top.

There was an RTC on sheaf lane around that time, the whole area around Sheldon was gridlocked as police closed the road, more than likely the cause of the delays :)

It occurred to me this evening, while travelling home on 2245 on the 37 (being price-branded and not route-branded), that I haven't seen any of 2201-2204 for sometime  now. Are these usually now out on the 71/72/S1, hence why I don't seem to come across them on the 37 any more?

It is only enthusiasts who are obsessed with where individual buses are. They are just 'unbranded single decks' as far as AG are concerned so will be allocated where unbranded single decks are needed

Thanks Tony, I'm no enthusiast as you may know, I was just curious as I have not seen any of these for a while on the 37, unless I've not been paying attention! If it's the case that they've been used elsewhere, then fair play to AG garage as in my mind there are only four single deck routes at AG (S1, 37, 71 & 72), so if I haven't seen them they must be being used on the 1, 71 & 72.

Yesterday I saw an 11 branded Gemini pass me on PB7 near Newtown Swimming Baths and it went down Newbury Rd following the 8A route. Any idea why it did?
