Probably a visitor from Yardley Wood. May also be a private hire if it's 6147/6148.

Wouldn't it have been better to get a Platinum from BC ?

I may be wrong, but I thought the E200mmc could be used as driver training for the E400mmc And AG already has 50 of them!

Yep. You're right. We were type trained on 6148. Same cabin. Platinum has a microphone and may have some sort of switch gear for the next stop announcement stuff.

E400MMCs do occasionally turn up at AG when there's private hire work.

Was it 4665?
Sorry for the late reply.

It might have been. Definitely had an LED display.

The announcements are linked to the Hanover input screen so all automatic

Unidentified Branded AG Gemini was being housed in former Hockley Garage last night for Birmingham Beer Festival. Promoting the Outer Circle Ale Trail, I wonder? Nice to see the infrastructure being used for what it once was. ;)

Sidenote: No, I wasn't attending. :P I used the open car park as a shortcut to and from Hockley Circus, which is where I spotted it.

4294 now has a front LED destination display. Saw it about 08:00 in Acocks Green on a 11E (11C) to Kings Heath.

Saw 2240, with the thicker nearside fleet numbers heading for Birmingham on the A38. Presumably returning from Scarborough.
