I bet the 11 and 966 rumours aren't true.

I think it's more due to a shortage of drivers though at AG. But think about it, we're losing the 73 but extra journeys on the 72. I think it's two buses we're losing, and BC is gaining 4608/9 from WN.
The 71 is being reduced to every 20 minutes as well from the 15th @MW
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

Yeah but the 72 is increased from 4 buses per hour to 6 per hour.

The 72 will be -
3 buses per hour between the City Centre and Chelmsley Wood - reduced to every 20 minutes ( Buckland End - City )
6 buses per hour between Chelmsley Wood and Solihull - increased frequency to replace the 70 which will be withdrawn between that section

the 72 currently is -
4 betweeen Buckland End and the City Centre
and 2 buses per hour between Buckland End and Solihull
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

I don't know what to say other than, maybe the loadings aren't worth the increased frequency?

Will there be enough buses to cover the 71 and 72?

Can't see that it's been mentioned already, but 11 branded Geminis have started to receive names. Noted today was 4507 Mandy Louise.

4509 is now also branded
4508 - did a 11E to the Fox And Goose on the 11A side and is currently running Out Of Service to start the 1
4509 - was on a 11A at The Fox And Goose about 15 minutes ago

4508 and 4509 are both named
Looks like 4509s name is Amy - Lou
@Gareth
4510 is also named
4672 is out on the 11 branded but unnamed is it only the 45** that are getting them?
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

Possibly way wide of the mark, but it wasn't by any chance @MW driving 4031 not in service through the city centre tunnels and down Bristol Road towards Selly Oak tonight was it? It still had 11E on the display, and was being given a good workout.

Most likely. He did that on Highgate road a few weeks ago lol.

Nah lol, not me. All Geminis for me today.

Also, this 11 rumour to PB may be true. Word is, a meeting took place yesterday regarding it. And today, a bunch of managers took a Gemini on the 11C route. It was NIS. Apparently we're losing the 11C to PB. It was also mentioned by a few staff at AG. Interesting. I wonder if it'll happen, and if we'll gain something, or just downsized!

Edit: Also it is a shame the C is going, if it does of course. I much prefer it to the A.

Let's watch this space then MW

I really don't think we have the space to gain the 11C (is it around 20 buses?), unless we lose a route elsewhere. It would be nice to get it though. Always fancied driving the Outer Circle. Maybe we might just get a few boards of the 11C as per the other rumour

If it does turn out to be only a few boards, I wonder if AG would gain anything. Maybe the 76 from YW? Who knows?

Edit: It's 44 buses in total, so roughly half it yeah.
