Finally got to ride one of the newbies today, 7000. Looks so much smarter with the posters inside and the branding. Much better than the half-arsed ones on the 23/24 and X20/X21/X22.

I still don't understand why they haven't done the full branding yet
23 - Bartley Green
76 - Northfield
X20 - Birmingham Via Longbridge, Northfield & QE Hospital / University

They've never updated the X1 and X2 route maps for some reason either. The X1 and X2 route maps, still say you change at Yardley Swan for the 59 to Kingshurst or at the Airport for the 966 to Erdington.

Will the BC Platinum routes be getting the new branding at some point?
Local Routes
94/95, 11A/11C, 28.

6995 has the next stop announcements for the 16. First time I've heard the female version, and I have to say I prefer the male one to be honest.

On a side note a little disappointing to see graffiti already on a window on the top deck.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

Recently I've seen the ex 16 E400 across all PB routes that use standard E400 and Gemini.
There are a number of the E400 that were previously used on the 16, on the 94 most days now alongside the Gemini, including today.

Seems to be how most double deck routes operating in the city centre operate:
An older double decker (Gemini, Trident, ALX400/B7)
A newer double decker (E400, E400MMC)
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Most used routes in bold

PB 4802,4803 and 4806 are on loan to YW.

Platinums 7508-7514 (7 vehicles) arriving at PB next, but are they for:

907 - possibly (hopefully)
101 - it's possible
52 - surely not !

Haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, but 6824 was seemingly on the 101 the other day..

Probably just a one off, to be honest. I wouldn't have considered the 101 for an upgrade, as nice as it would be (being another one of my local services :P )
