I'm sure that I read in one of the topics (or on Facebook) that 4697 & 4698 were going to the Training Fleet

Surely a Trident would be better? 4697/8 are only 12 years old

Saw 4697 sitting in the middle of the Reserve/Withdrawn Tridents at Miller Street. Not sure why it's there.

I heard 4698 was going to be a Trainer. Heard nothing about 4697 becoming one.

Been on the cards for ages now. Now it appears to be withdrawn at Miller Street, are we getting a replacement bus for it?

Do we think the 77 might return to Walsall with the pending East Brum changes.

I have been told by two Walsall drivers that the 77 will return to Walsall. Apparently, the 77A would still be operated by Perry Barr. The date is on 4th June 2017.

Thanks for the confirmation, @BU07 LGO! Just how it should be, the 77 being operated by Walsall. :P

I wonder if we'll get a couple more tridents? Apparently it could be going onto willenhall or streetly Rota though

I was speculating not expecting my thought to be correct. I was speculating on the basis that I was expecting the PB would be gaining extra work through the East Brum changes i.e might get the 71 or with the 96 extra buses being required etc

77 is 3 buses (extra 1 bus = 4 - for the pm peak), so I would guess the same. I would have thought it would be back on Brownhills rota like before? I can't see Willenhall to have the 77... Streetly, possibly.

I doubt PB garage has the capacity to take on much extra work.
