Usually the dedicated bus for the Cap Gemini is 4853, so seeing that on the 914 got me wondering if it doesn't run in school holidays. But then I saw 4819 a few minutes after

John, I've noticed 4853 is often on the Cap Gemini, is there any reason for this?

The only reasoning I can think of is it became spare when the frequency of the 33 dropped from 8 to 10 minutes.

Ironically if you google for Capgemini, the streetview shows 4929 parked up on Avenue Road.  :)

It's a works contract, so I see no reason why it wouldn't run during school holidays.
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

CG runs every weekday. The only difference during half term is that he doesn't go to do the 907A from my school. 4853 is the 'dedicated' bus to CG since it saves them from having to source a bus daily (I think). However if 4853 is needed elsewhere, they will send it out and put something else on CG.

4928 is on the 33 today

4853 is on the 33. Has been in normal service most of this week rather than Cap Gemini

Grey branding for the 101. One bus has it applied currently.

It is 4823. I would have thought that grey branding would look quite dull, but it sits well on the Crimson livery

Anyone managed to procure a photo of 4823 in its new branding ?!

I don't do branded buses!
Duly noted. I did manage to find 4823; drove past 4800, which I was on. Personally, I can't say I like it, although branding is branding, after all. Would've liked to see green branding, with something more flamboyant for promoting the Jewellery Quarter, rather than just "Jewellery Qtr" on the right ::)

4822 is now 101 branded and is out today

The Enviro400 named 'Meesha' is now 101 branded. No visible fleetnumber when I saw it

4821 has just been started so will be the next one branded
