Better standard than they normally get, ha ha. Had to get that dig in.

94 upgraded?

Today the 94 is almost completely refurbished Geminis. The only two vehicles not geminis are 4238 & 4290 two of PBs most respectable ALX400s

Sorry Boss! but refurbished Gemini's still doesn't compare to the ultra modern fleet Claribels use on the 94. Ultimately they're still 11 year old buses.

The same age as the Tridents originally bought for the route when at Lea Hall.

I would like to bet the vast majority of the people on the 94 could not tell the difference between a refurbished Gemin, now been done a year, and any new bus after a year in service. I found that when 4177 was first refurbished and I was sent out travelling on it asking people how old they thought it was. General opinion was about a year old

Fair point, they are all uncomfortable with engine heat when you it at the back, so probably right lol.

I don't know if we had 1824 on loan yesterday, as it was parked on the garage driveway

On the 46 yesterday

All Gemini again today except for 4235

Most of the Geminis are still very good buses - they have always been better than the ALX/Trident buses due to the better suspension, design and quality. Rode 4667 on the 11 today and excellent riding bus still. Just needs an internal refurb and external repaint.

Have noticed the 7 has been near enough Alx operated for the last couple days as opposed to majortly Gemini, think they may have swoppped some with the 65 as that is seeing more Geminis

Or the 94, which seems to be almost fully Gemini operated recently

Dunno man, 65 doesn't seem any different to normal to me
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Maybe with the timetable changes on the 21st will see them finally deciding what route gets what.

Assuming these could be the new buses for the 94, would be a bit of an upgrade over the ALXs

I suppose. But the 94 has been part Gemini for a while, and like Winston said, they're still 11 year old buses. But yeah, certainly better quality than the ALXs
