Had a ride on 764 this evening (walked up to Aston from work and caught it on the 654 all the way round to Hamstead - fancied a bit of a change of scenery)
Have to say, I love them already. Yeah they may be slow off the mark and plastic, but tbh I reckon that's perfect for a minibus route, managed fine in and around all the parked cars in Handsworth Wood, seemed no less awkward than a big car.
Seriously hope though that they don't start putting them on any other route like they have been with the Solos though, cause I've experienced that on the 28 and it was hell

Nathan is referring to the existing batch at perry barr being seen in wolverhampton. Not the new batch which is for central/west brom

I'm referring to the PB49xx batch too, they're not a year old yet.

Could someone please tell me from the batch of new buses at Perry Barr 761 to 764 if 3 are needed for the 654 and 2 for the 651and all the PB solos are now withdrawn what is the other bus used as 2 are required for the 651 so why are there not 5 new buses at PB and is the other bus used a scania.?

The 654 needs 3 buses. The 651 does not run anymore so there is one spare left over each day for breakdowns/maintenance

That was when we still had the Solos, so I would not think that would happen anymore now

Saw a 33 branded Enviro400 parked up at Carlyle Bus & Coach but couldn't see the fleet number.

Does anybody know which one it is?

That will be the one involved in the accident on Cooksey Lane last week. (The only one I noticed was 4848 so its not that one)

There are also a few '61' Enviro400s off the road at the minute, so both 4486 and 4932 on the 33 today
