I did see a 7 branded Enviro 400 on the 60 yesterday at about 16:15 at Yardley / Swan heading into City. Must be the same one.

It most certainly was.

Exactly, that is the main priority. So it's better to show various via points rather than just one. I'd say just as many people get off during the journey as they do at the destination points, so they're just as important. Whether the 6s or 9s look bad is irrelevant. My point is the scrolling display offers more info to passengers rather than just "via Kings Heath" or "via Harborne". What good is that?

The displays on some BY buses  appear to have had there displays updated - 1806 on the 55  is no longer scrolling, like they usually are -
Though unlike the other updated BC/PB/AG displays it alternate between
55 Chelmsley Wood
Via Ward End

And:

55 Chelmsley Wood
Shard End & Kingshurst.

Much better than 'Fast Along the A45' which provides very little info on the places a route serves in my opinion.
