4322 has left for Wolverhampton, one of these Tridents might be covering for that one.

Have any Mercedes been withdrawn lately?

The three Tridents are in Coventry until Saturday drivers told me today..they are in Coventry due to staffing shortages at the Wheatley St. depot. The drivers also  tell me the three buses are in good condition. I photographed them on 6,11 and 23 service am.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but how can the vehicles help with staff shortages? Also, where is the Wheatley St. depot?

Engineering staff shortages to fix them.
Mind you the root cause is the components failing!

Talking of components failing 874 expired outside Pool Meadow at 08:40 grinding to halt with a loud clanking sound and steam coming out from underneath. Mansfield's attended and removed it at 11:30.

Wheatley Street is pretty much attached to Pool Meadow, as you enter Pool Meadow by bus using the main entrance (not the newer one), it's on the right turn just behind the Bingo Hall.

On the note of 874 failing, are the Enviro 200s going to follow their predecessors' (O405N's) tradition of only breaking down in awkward places? ;)

4616 and 4666 went straight into service.
4616 did a school bus and is doing a couple of journeys on 5 to Coundon.

I've heard 874 is receiving a new engine!  :o
The bus is only a month old so surely this can't be true!?
Favourite buses currently:
871, 1828, 4421, 4764, 6101, 6108, 6116, 6118, 6121, 6848, 6849
Least favourite buses currently:
4203, 4213, 4398, 4419

:D

Is it me or has it became increasingly common for bus drivers to change their destination display from University of Warwick to Coventry before actually arriving into the campus causing everyone to get in the bus. The bus driver then drives the bus to the next stop opposite the computer science building and sits there for a while which I presume this is the bus driver taking their rest. There were some complaints that stagecoach towards Leamington Spa were doing the same thing.

Isn't it more convenient for everyone that bus driver puts their bus out of service before arriving the campus and take their rest opposite the CS building? They can go round the loop again once their rest's up and put the bus in service.
