Yes its seats have been done, and it's also lost its individuality as the only ALX 400 with a nearside fleet number on the front of the bus in the position of Gemini's and Enviro's shown in photos of the bus in NXC livery on this website.

I've been reliably informed 4450 has still got last years Fare Prices on Near Side and Driver Door!

Just seen 4695 being driven by an engineer with logo and side advert removed, is this one next for repaint?

I was in Coventry briefly on Tuesday and am sure I saw 1678 working the 5 route in full Coventry livery. Can anyone confirm that it has been resurrected or am I mistaken?

1678 never went away! It's on the 20 which is rare.
4695 is on 11 tonight 16:00 to Leamington.

It was fun in Coventry this afternoon. Around half 2, the traffic lights from the exit for the car park for the West Orchards Shopping Centre were stuck of red for over half an hour, with a O405N stuck at the front. Absolute gridlock ensued, with the Hales Street/Trinity Street/Burges loop completely gridlocked with buses. The traffic was spreading past the bus station on Hales Street and the up to the ring road. It was about 15 minutes before anything actually moved, NX inspectors were instructing buses that could get out of the jam to use the ring road and re-enter the City Centre at the next junction, but it was a good half an hour before it got moving again

@John The O405N was 1579 on the 18
Hypocrites are like flares... a right pain if one goes near you, and really annoying to get rid of...

Worst traffic lights in the city centre as well. Its about time they were removed.

I have a radical solution, it might not be popular but it might just work. more to follow after a bit of research

That is not 4833 as 4833 has no branding on the top window along with 4834 and 4842.
Looks like either 4835, 4837 or 4838 due to te black panelling by the doors.

Is the whole batch of Citaro Bendibuses still operating in Coventry - some were reported out of service a while back.

I take my woolly hat off to you Lauren, well spotted it was 4838 when I checked picture of it being hitched to tow truck.

It appears the citaro bendibuses are more reliable than the scania omnicity bendibuses, so Yes all citaros are currently not withdrawn, however some are off the road for maintenance at the minute, hence double deckers appearing on the 4 lately on weekdays.
Should all be back on the road within the next few days.

Service 11 will be using single deckers mon-fri next week on the late duties due a road closure at Chesford Grange, it's being diverted through Warwick after 10 pm.
