In the new year service 18A has a subtle route variation for the first three outbound Mon-Fri journeys which will additionally serve stop ER3 at Coventry Rail Station interchange.
I suppose assisting travellers to Warwick University / Science Park, the existing stop on Warwick Road seemingly isn't close enough.

Service 27A for Middlemarch will gain new journeys for 6am-2pm shift workers, unsure if NWM are correct in saying it's just temporary/evaluation for one week.

0n the radio BBC Radio programme Trish from 6-9am a caller said there were more red buses around Coventry and we've got 10 more coming from Birmingham. No idea who he was. Could the ten be replacements for the bendi-buses?

Coventry's B7RLE operated routes? Maybe the 4 might get them but I doubt that.

The extra B7s ought to avoid the need for E200s on 20 where they are too small on occasions or when gaps appear due to congestion caused by an incident on the M6.

Coventry Transport Dude

I caught one of the E200's last week on the 20 route, from Longford Square into Town and it was only about a quarter full when i got on it, but by the time it got down to the Foleshill Road (by the old General Wolfe Pub), it was already full up and had some standing passengers on it to ! (Shame the 20's not still a Double Decker route like it once was, as that route sure could do with 'em at times ?).

I predict the 5 and 7 mainly and possibly the 18/18A.
although I expect the 20 will see them to end E200 usage.
I just notice double deckers off peak on the 5 et el when in the past they haven't been.

Experiences in Willenhall provide a pitiful example of poor service with two 13 departing out of service 4837 and 4994. One driver said you can write in but it won't make any difference.
The 21 didn't seem much better 2170 turned up and went dead. Indicative of schedules with poor resiliance.
Waiting passenger said they don't give a sh*t.

Sorry but if I've guessed when you are referring to, 2170 turning up at 17:49 (17 minutes late) and being run to another point to fill the big gap in front when 4833 left at 17:50 one minute later seems like someone does care, would you prefer 2170 & 4833 ran together with a huge gap in front of them?

Thanks Tony
I even more confused now as 2170 turned up behind 4833.
Suffice to say the RTI stated bus due to Coventry at 18:29.
The driver of 4833 said he was the 18:44 but the driver of 2170 declined to answer if he was the 18:29!
The driver of 4833 allowed passengers to board rather than stand in a bus shelter whose lights didn't work....
As a friend says its all those silly little instances of poor performance that arent dealt with.

Sorry, yes I was at the wrong end of the route, yes 2170 was the 18:29 to City; 4833 was the 18:44 full journey

Service 13 certainly has chronic lack of running time, would changing the current 10 min freq / 110 minute cycle to a 12 min freq / 132 minute cycle work as a solution to improving performance and reliability?
