Yes VIP run commercially during the day operating 2 buses at hourly frequency on a Saturday. Mondays to fridays again 2 buses running infrequently mostly between about 9.30/10.00 and 2.30/3.00 with journey starting / ending around the Quinton area to fit in with the 2 bus contract to Quinto Day Centre. There are then a couple of commercial early evening journeys to lead into the tendered evening journeys.

Hi, does anyone know who to email to complain about a service not operating to it's correct destination?

I caught the 19:30 654a from Perry Barr last night intending to go to the terminus of Valley Road, Hamstead, (as per the timetable) however when the bus was near to Hamstead village and i was the only person left on-board, the driver shouted to ask where i was going to, i told him that it was valley road terminus, however he said it only goes to Hamstead village, he then asked if he could turn right and drop me in Rocky Lane by Hamstead Station. Surely if a service is timetabled to operate it should go to the correct destination rather than the driver pleasing himself just because he wants to get back to the garage quicker. John

Yep, agree with you John. If its a centro tendered service complain to them and they will contact VIP for you I imagine-confirms reputation as a dodgy company that shouldnt be on the road >:(

Happens quite often on VIP
Usually drivers want to get back or have other services
Its the same with 99 I was only one intending BHAM terminus it terminated at the QE hospital

Its horrendous and totally unacceptable. Why on earth do centro just let on the basis of cost-they should monitor quality etc and have stringent requirements so only the decent companies can run services.

When VIP first started they aquired the ex travel london darts which are newish buses but more recently they seemed to have aquired buses that are around 15 years old and most without proper destination blinds for me they seem to be aquiring and expanding too quickly similar to ampm travel. Never used VIP so not sure what there actually like as the point of view of a passenger.
