Any idea which Hybrid Enviro 400 had its offside rear panel clipped in an accident whilst operating the 1 into Wolverhampton this morning? Looked like someone overtaking the bus hit an on-coming car and clipped the back of the bus. Hope no one was injured.

Which Road did this take place on? May explain 4607 being on the 1 this afternoon then

Wolverhampton road east, the bus had been moved by time i went past but there was a fiat punto with front & rear end damage just past the bus shelter.

Looking at the timetables in Wednesfield it appears as said the 25A/C will operate to Bilston only but still with the 25A/C numbers

May have not required much repairs as the car only clipped the bus. 5514 had a minor collision with a car last year and after a chckover at garage was back on road again within an hour or 2

I think it was 5417 that was seen in the garage with a rear o/s corner panel missing at approx 8pm on Friday (Not 100% it was 5417 or could have even been a different incident)

How come the evening & Sunday 25 aren't called 25E as they are not running the full circular route?

I would imagine it would have display 25E to Bilston Via... or 25-BILSTON in big lettering (The two 89 journeys that terminate in Bloxwich from Wolverhampton display 'bloxwich'

So shouldn't the evening service be a 25AE or a 25CE?  ;)

I think this is all very confusing but to clarify the 25A/C will in effect do an E to Bilston on the evenings the long way round (that is to say it will not run the old 26 part of the route)
Mon - Fri 1st one from WN will be 17.44, from Bilston 19.30. The confusion will be whether it is an A,C or E or even AE CE which way it will be going, obviously when passengers get used to it it will be easier, but for a casual user I can foresee a lot of confusion
As far as I know there are no E's on the 26 side so if it's an E its going through Wednesfield and Willenhall. If this is displayed on the blinds it will be easier, but for the lazy drivers who can't be bothered and just display a 25A or 25E passengers will not know where it is going, or which way...my this is gonna be fun  :P
Also interesting there are some very early E's to and from the i54 and the 27 timing changes mean the last E to Gornal from Wolverhampton is 30mins earlier!! Drink quicker lads or get out earlier...P.S  Domino & Darts matches will commence 30 mins early from 26.01.14 as a result of adjusted bus times  ;D ;D ;D

The first full journey from Wolverhampton (Via I54,Wednesfield and Willenhall) is also much earlier now at 05:34 (Current 25 from Wolves is 08:04)

Also just to confirm 5417 is at Park Lane with slight Rear o/s Damage/panel removed can't be sure if it's been involved in an accident though

No unbranded B5's on the 59 today. 5511/2/3 have been on the 1 (There is usually 1 unbranded B5 at the most on Saturday 1's) and 5514 was on the 126

Nathan, I caught 5514 in Broad Street and managed to get a pic by New Street Signalbox at 15:50 after the hailstorm, couldn't see the board number.

I caught it on the 11:00 126 from Wolverhampton. I would imagine the B5's will be back on 59's tommorow with it being a Sunday

They're only green machines. I don't see what's so important about where they are or aren't. Althought if it matters 5510 was on the 1 last night

That's your opinion though. We are all allowed to have our own views and opinions so you may not like 'green machines but I do take an interest in them ;) Btw Ash, 2028 is today's 62 however I have a feeling B7's will be allocated on a Sunday. Shame as I liked riding B6's on the Sunday 62.

Also the 255/6 has reverted back to B7RLE operation on a Sunday. I caught 2025 on the new 25C this morning.

It appears the 25/7 interworking hasn't changed since today's changes. Buses display 25C-Bilston Via Wednesfield/Willenhall/I54 Site and 25A-Wolverhampton Via Willenhall.... on a Sunday

In the week they alternate between 25C Wolverhampton Circular and Wolverhampton Via..... And the same with the 25A.

One driver displayed the Wolverhampton loop display today although it only does the 25 route to Blston on Sundays.

EDIT: 4569 has appeared to have replaced a B5 on the 59 tonight
