Exactly what i thought. It was probably a Spectra or trident (You can tell he is not a bus person)

Maybe borrowed from PE, was it seen today?

Seen yesterday and today. I think my grandad may have not seen it on the 529 and just because it was on Willenhall Rd. But the problem is he is insistant that it was on the 529.

I'm pretty sure he just probably saw a V festival shuttle bus (They are taking that line of route back to Walsall Garage)

Maybe a v festival bus was going back to garage and went in service?

Well you never know. Was probably just a Spectra or trident as he said it said 529 on the front

Couple of BC tridents parked in the front yard when i went past Park Lane this morning (Obviously not needed on V festival shuttles today). 4002,4543, A load of BC tridents and A Gemini on the V festival shuttles today (Went past quickly so never caught fleetnumbers sorry)

I have been out today and haven't seen it so far but will look out for it matt :)

Thanks, I was out as well but no success, seen all 59's and a few other Spectra routes but no sign, if anyone does spot it in the next few weeks let me know

Was wondering where 4001 went  ;)  Last time i rode it a few weeks back it had a Dodgy sounding rear axle

I managed to scoop the Doyern of the fleet in last Friday on the 11, sounded mega loud like the exhaust blowing. Or could just be a loud animal all round!

Excuse the potential ignorance.... but do the Spectra's have certain diagrams set out and if so how many are there a day for the fleet of 21 ? I'm assuming they do as most of them go to bed after the evening peak although I did see 4004 around 2215 last night on the 11.

There a usually a couple of Spectras in the garage during the day (One usually does the peak 59 board). Noticed now that all the Spectras are taken off the 59 now with tridents/B5's operating it (Mainly to reduce the chance of breakdowns). A spectra did do the 21:15 256 from Wolverhampton the other week

Spectras did used to stay out on the 59 at night, usually till 20:30 then back to garage from Wolverhampton Bus station but 1 or 2 did stay out till end of service but they all now go out of service around 17:30-19:00 and the tridents and B5's stay out in the evening
