4992 has just passed an MoT, so will likely be out in service in grey for the first time either this afternoon or tomorrow

Obviously this is a minor thing and I must clarify in no way am I complaining here - is there a reason the Wolverhampton - Dudley short trips along the Birmingham New Road are numbered X8, as oppose to 8? I'd have thought 8 would make more sense as the X signifies a limited stop/express service
Local routes are the PN 7, WN 8, 25 and 242 (mainly the 8)
Also regularly use the 17

My only guess is that due to the X8 having quinton shorts aswell it looks better on a timetable lol very silly i know but it might be an answer.
