The 79A has ended now despite this I am seeing extra buses to Wednesbury from 7PM to about 1AM from West Bromwich the last 79 from Wednesbury is at 00:59 terminating into West Brom at 01:11 is this due to Metro Works

Ah I see, I didn't see anything on the Metro Twitter about this so thought maybe it was for the rest of this week but rather than running as the 79A it will be become part of the 79 or maybe it was because of Albion being at home so matchday special.

Just noticed 4627 with Hanover flip dot blind displaying 59 Wolverhampton with alternating lower element of via Wednesfield & Heath Town. How long has that been like it as I've never seen it before?

Two casualties, and a blow to, WN's double deck fleet:

4983 sustained a broken window this afternoon (spotted in Bilston Street)

5409 heavy RTA damage to nearside front following collision with minibus

A.N.Other bus had a window kicked out in on a Codsall school service today (unsure if single or double decker).

5422 was indeed involved
6780 replaced it on the 10 before returning to the 8 and X8
4983 was attacked in the City Centre and was replaced by 5415 on the 18:14 from Tettenhall Wood to Dudley
5409 was replaced by 4987 on the 79

Front drivers side pillar from top of cab/windscreen to the bottom of the bus. Driver side bottom corner, headlight cluster and whatever is behind it, plus windscreen heavy damage. Oh yes, and a new wiper blade needed!
