The Cannock to Hednesford section of the 154 is quiet. Apart from that, both services are well used. Passengers think the NX services are more reliable and cheaper. A good example, the 2205 Stafford to Wolverhampton a few Saturdays back carried about 20 to 30 people end to end. You get similar numbers on the evening 154's regularly.

751 is about to leave Wolverhampton Bus Station on the 11 while 752 is parked up at Stand U.

EDIT: 752 also went onto the 11 a short while later. When 751 left, it was standing room only and very little standing room at that.

Does that mean both 62 boards go onto another route? Would make sense due to the early finishes. Well thats if they were on the 62 in the first place mind

Yes, a 62 board does 11's before and afterwards. This used to be the case when NX had the route before.

Not sure but appears to be the case. 751/2 were both on the 62 today so one board appears to go onto 11's.

If it's anything like it used to be then the E200 would do 2 or 3 morning trips on the 11, be swapped with a vehicle on a schools running board. The school vehicle would then swap with the 62 vehicle and do a school then back to garage. The E200 I assume would do 2 or 3 trips on the 11. The old board used to finish at Underhill not long after 6pm.

It may be like that again but it probably isn't. It's just a rough estimate for you.

Nice to see NXWM back on the 62/A again, the passengers must also be happy not to have the old batterered darts bellowing out black smoke, the one thing NXWM may have trouble with is keeping to the timetable seeing it is the same timetable arrive operated to & the buses never managed to keep to the timetable.

The 62/62A could be profitable, commercial routes if whoever takes it on actually made an effort with it. As in a more manageable timetable, greater number of operating hours, more places served.

Yes they can get LWB E200's on the 62! 843 was on there on Sunday.

One would have thought that WN would have got two more E200s as the PVR has increased and obviously to provide a spare. I'm going on the presumption that 751 and 752 are both SWB here, so if the idea was that WN would have a SWB for 62s as maybe it was thought that they would not need LWB E200s for the route then there is one spare...but at the end of the day, an E200 is an E200, so they've put an E200 on an E200 route.

They were moved as iirc it was said after the service changes at West Brom, they do not require as many SWB E200's and the only ideal place to send them to was WN for 62's.

Although i can see what he is on about. Although, yes an E200 is an E200, i wouldn't want to be on one on the 81! The LWB examples don't seem to cope with loadings especially at Peak Times. Same with the 28, come peak time it will be packed!

saw an swb e200 on 11 rammed. so if as previously the 62 board covers 11s as well, the e200 swb wasn't sufficient last night.
