The BC hybrid E400s don't mention the word Birmingham externally, so could operate in their current livery in WN without any modificaton

@Mike K, I thought i had read on here that some of the BC E400H's had had lettering removed but must be seeing things ;)  Think i need a good nights sleep ;)  It has been a long day ;)

I'd imagine they will make a start on preparing BC's E400H's soon though

@Nathan, I mentioned that 5504 and 5509 (B5s) had lost their Hybrid Bus lettering on the front screens, when it was mentioned that the WN ones had lost theirs, but that the 'every _ minutes' had been left on the branded ones. I wondered whether they might be preparing to brand the B5s for the Harborne corridor. Not sure about that though as none of BC's other B5s have lost the lettering.

As stated the BC E400Hs can go straight into service at WN as they are.

Some B5's will transfer out to BC tommorow. Bit of a shame really as i like the B5's. I will have to catch one next week in their new home :)

Yes @Nathan from an enthusiast's point of view it's a shame about the swap, I liked the E400Hs and the variety of having 2 bus types on my local route. But I guess this was always going to happen sooner or later and from a commercial perspective makes sense. I do like the Gemini 2s and look forward to seeing 5510-18 in Brum next week. Rode 5404 and 5406 by way of farewell today.

They'll be missed by me, i'm stuck with buses with hard seats, less legroom and more rattles than a rattle snake now.

5511 still here, its on the 59
