4535 and another Trident on Private Hire this morning for the Vaisakhi Sikh Parade from Wednesfield Guru Nanak Temple to Willenhall Sikh Temple. Seen parked on Well Lane in Wednesfield about 10:45

As a result of the parade, there were slight delays for the 59/89 in Wednesfield and 40/529 in Willenhall whilst rolling road closures took place.

Was driven out of the display area and parked in the bus service turning area at 5 o clock. It has an amazing array of different styles of moquette in the lower saloon but the seats are quite soft and comfortable with good leg room. The paint's a bit crabby round the edges of some of the lower panels but no more so than I've seen on 45xx/46xx WN Tridents. It was parked next to BC 5517.

Saw two B7RLE's working 5A's (One going out as a 5 an the other about to go onto the 10 due to interworking)  today. Today was Sunday service so the 5A doesn't run. At first I thought the driver may have put up the wrong display but saw another coming inbound towards City also on a 5A. Any ideas?

5a probably got used on destination as there was a diversion on due to easter fair in bilbrook. all buses had to run the 5a route

Of course. Ultimately it boils down to economics, whatever the individual reason.

Probably MOT expiry, or condition issues (eg major components such as transmission, axles, engine or body corrosion) - there will be a limit to how much can be spent on each vehicle given short life expectancy dependent on the overall number of vehicles NXWM have available to deal with all their service commitments. Some parked up ones were reactivated not long ago, presumably because there was a shortage of vehicles at that time.
