Many bus passengers on Gorsebrook Road also now use the 5 so don't forget that Nathan. Extending the operating hours of the 62 and 62A would get many of those back on to the bus, it would cater for school traffic and employment as well as the elderly, especially those who live in Perton. The changes went totally un-noticed by community groups and even Perton's neighbourhood watch co-ordinator as well as contributors to media publications such as the parish newslatter and the Perton Pages who I believe have good things to say about their new service. People on that side of Perton felt cut off when the 510 became the 10 and was re-routed and they have found it hard to get out over these last 2 and a half years so they are also appreciative. Marketing techniques should be more personal than updating websites, simple cards through letterboxes would be pretty easy to sort out given bus drivers themselves have put timetables up in bus shelters in Perton to try and increase patronage. There is no reason all of the above should,kt and could,kt happen but I get a feeling people are just looking at profit rather than fulfilling the social needs of bus services like this.

Appears a WN trident (On the 79 presumably) was involved in a collision (The bus doesn't look badly damaged) early this morning:

Found out during the week whilst at Park Lane the bus involved was 4571

Yep I can confirm it too! It seems as soon as I left W'ton Garage on Friday (Work experience) the allocations are all over the place again  ;D (Only joking BTW ;)) 4539 is on the usual trident board.

4001 enjoying an evening trip on the 59 tonight (One of the last buses of the night). Spectra's are usually kept off evening 59's o whether it was changed at any point I don't know (Last seen near Ashmore Park just before 8PM)
