Some items.

Just the 90 change to 70. Minor rota changes.

Cranes Park Rota - Split.
> 900/E / 957 work put back onto the Coventry
> 58 work removed.

Solihull Rota - New.
> Majority 58 work.
> Including major 957 work.

Coventry Rota - 9xx
> Exclusively 900/E work.
> Includes minor 957 work.

Therefore;

Cranes Park - 59, 60
Solihull - 58, 957
Coventry - 900, 900E, 957

This is to remove the Cranes Park work off the 900, thus improving drivers morale.

The reason for the Solihull rota is not known, but looks like a good rota actually. Wouldn't mind to be on that!! How long it'll last is not known.

In addition;

The 'new' E400's for the Pershore Road is, actually (apparently), extensively refurbished and branded blue cascades from PB, or other garages.

The above isn't from the horses mouth so please expect inaccuracies. I can only do so much for legitimacy of rumours.

Take everything with a wee pinch of salt. As with everything, expect changes!

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Thanks LS,

That's bowled us a bit of a curved ball........ so looks like the PB E400's to BC may be a permanent move. I wonder what PB might end up with in the form of newer cascades for the 94 then as per NXOD's quote

monkeyjoe

They don't give toss about the 94, bet it won't get anything :). I had to throw that one just for old times sake. :). Not had a moan for a while. Mind could probably get 03 branded Gemini's. That would be slight regular improvement.

Whats the PVR of the 45/47?

Not certain, but 16 was banded about when there were suggestions a new fleet of E400's may have originally been due

Probably heading to the steam clean place down there that does a lot of work for NXWM before MoTs

Note the immaculate wheels where it has not been out in service yet. Stories of it being on 24 earlier in the week are not correct

Tony, what is that black sticker in the second upper deck window? Is it the fares or what?

Whats the PVR of the 45/47?

I've got it at anything between 12-20, both routes every 12 minutes, round trip over an hour. I don't think 16 Enviros would be enough for the 45/47, not getting carried away with this rumour but, maybe if when PB get their new Enviros, they can get 5 spares so that 4852-4856 could go to WA to allow 4733-4737 to go to BC. I'm fairly sure 4698, 4718-4737 would be enough for the 45/47
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Most used routes in bold

1hr 48 round trip.

108mins / 6min freq. = 18 buses.

But the highest running board number is 45/79. (Indicating over the course of one day there would've been 29 buses in total on the Pershore Road. That includes schools and peak boards, doesn't include 61/98.)

Incidently;

1hr 50 round trip on Bristol Road:

110mins / 5min freq. = 22 buses

Highest board is 63/31 so an additional 11 buses on school and short workings etc.

I think that's correct? Maybe get Winston to have a jab.

LS, leave me out of this one.......I'm no good at working out Pvrs

Stuharris 6360

Is it so secret what the PVR of routes are in the West Midlands.

There is a website for London buses & it gives you the PVR of every route.
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).
