Can't quite find a suitable place to put this, but as it relates to BC services, here we are.

The 94 and 95 service has had for quite a while a Monday to Friday service listed as every 5-7 minutes between certain hours. The timetable at bus stop has been quite need at tidy.

The new ones at bus stops replaced the last couple of days are as long as a novel. There's a Monday to Thursday service and a Friday service, all listed as separate times. With only a very small handful of timing differences throughout the day. Who was responsible for that layout?! Every 5-7 minutes during the day still work. And the odd minor change on Fridays can be listed separately without the current mess.

I noticed that yesterday, it would still working saying Every 5-7 minutes, what I also noticed (mainly from driving) the 94/95 has gone back up to a every 10 minute (5 minute for each service) service on Monday to Fridays.

I think they've done that at the end of September every year for the past couple of years 94/95 back up to every 5, 28 back up to every 12 minutes etc.

Wonder if the Bristol road (61/63), have a frequency increase, it needs it in the peaks.

Easy, You do a timetable for Monday to Thursday and a separate timetable for Friday

But it's only about half a dozen differences throughout the whole day and some are different by only one minute. Every single journey doesn't need to be listed, especially when that stop hasn't been a timing point for years.

Are the 61/63 supposed to terminate at MS9 or NS2? Surely MS9 makes more sense as there's more room.

Fair enough I just wondered because I was on an X21 the other day which struggled to get to the NS2 stop because 2 61/63 were parked there.

Bus stop codes at key interchange points. You must know about these surely?

Stops are usually (from what I see) named after where they are e.g Hamstead Road (name of street the stop is on) / Middlemist Road (name of street the stop is adjacent to), but if they're in important/key places as Stu said, they're assigned a code of numbers or letters, they usually have something to do with the area they're in, Birmingham City Centre has many of them, some other places are Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Sandwell Hospital and Midland Metropolitan Hospital, Scott Arms, Bearwood, Oldbury and Sutton Coldfield

Originally when I started, I got put on the 94/95. But I kinda always wanted Bristol road (partially because of @BusDriverBosh). I was gonna do late nights on 94/95, but late nights for Stechford includes the 14 - and I am not that confident yet 😂. Finding the Bristol Road a lot more relaxing even when it gets screwed.

Yeah, as I can tell the relief point there is under review and might get moved to the moor street stop, similar to the Unis.

I must admit I'd never noticed these alphanumeric codes before. So NS is New Street and MS Moor Street, I suppose/

I use late night 14/94/95. They're all generally fine. A fair few months old single tickets being used as daysavers and 'phone battery dead' excuses, but nothing extraordinarily bad.
