i mean it could come up washwood heath road down aston church road and down the a47 like the rest of the routes will

That would of course be the 'alternative', albeit a lengthy diversion for the 14.

I think it has been 'assumed' that the 14 would continue along Duddeston Mill Road and onto Adderley Road to then rejoin normal route, which is why the suggestion has been made about use of single decks.
My locals:

11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley

Another of the long term missing tridents has been signed off fit today. 4595 after 238 days, although it wasn't needed this afternoon. Should come out tomorrow. The longest missing of them all, 4474, not been out for 377 days was driven around the garage today for the first time in a year

7527 was duplicating 6892 on the X2 this morning. Normally worked by just the 1 bus which spends most of the day on the X2.

Another of the long term VoR Tridents 4626 has ventured out this afternoon on the Pershore Road

Not sure if this should be in the oddities thread or not but 6881 on the X21 to Bartley Green had an NSA announcement for the Ernest St stop on Bath Row. Still only says 80 on the flag and it didn't say Bexhill Grove afterwards, nor did it happen towards City so I'm hoping it was just an error.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.

Okay so it's the same on 6882, so clearly not a mistake. Who's bright idea is this? The 80 is every 10 mins anyway, what's the point?

So what "Limited Stop" section of the route now remains? I thought it was only a couple of stops on Bath Row that the X21/22 missed out.

Limited stop has ended then it seems, if it stops at those 80 stops. The 20 also serves all stops on the Bristol Road as of August 2021.
They'll probably keep the route numbers though as nothing wrong with them, saves having to alter the branding on the platinums and change all the stops.

They need to change the frequency on the branding to up to every 10 minutes from 5th June, so they could always remove the 'X' and FAST at the same time.

The X prefixes on these routes have been misleading for a while.

When I caught it last week it was quite Fast, it got to the QE/University Station in about 15 - 20 minutes via a direct route. There's nothing at all misleading about that.

Frequency decreases as of 5th June could also be in part due to early summer timetables, the X21/X22 timetable could change again in September.

Exactly. Might as well scrap the 'X' now and renumber them 21/22 (which should've happened anyway when the last load of changes were made). Really disappointing though as the 80 is frequent anyway, and besides the outbound stop only had the 80 previously as the 23/24 only went in one direction.

They can get to the Uni Station in decent time sometimes but don't forget there will be less traffic in the coming weeks. I agree with Mike that the 'Fast' description is a bit ambitious most of the time.

I can't see the frequency increasing in September to be honest.

They still haven't changed the X1 branding from last September I think. "Every 15 to Airport Every 30 to Coventry"

Well, drivers are still missing out the Ernest St stop anyway despite the NSA and flag update lol.

So now X21 and X22 have been removed from the flag of the Five Ways Station stop on Bath Row but the timetable is still in the shelter. What is actually going on lol
