It looks like the ex X61 branded Platinums will be receiving generic branding. A photo has just been posted on Facebook of 6836 with it's generic branding applied, and apparently 6837 has been done too.

It would appear that the generic Platinum branding now being applied is in the style of the existing fleet. Picture (not mine) of 6836 here:

I hope it is complete. Not a fan of the 'halos' around the front destination and it's so much nicer having light through the rear windows. Not holding my breath though.

I'm sure it was confirmed that the front and back will be branded, wasn't it? Begs the question what's taking so long though. This isn't normally the case. Are NX anticipating more tampering with the routes perhaps?

I'd say that was likely or just waiting to see if the new routes are a definite success or not, especially as 6835-40 all seem to be having the front and back done... In fact the only side not being done so far on those is the offside suggesting ad frames will shortly be fitted to those.

Yeah that's kinda what I mean. After the X61 they're probably trying to make sure they don't have to remove yet more branding?

I hope they stop branding the back windows because there have been many occasions when I've looking to change to the bus (a different service) behind which is difficult when you can't see out of the back windows !

There is a platty that isn't route branded but has its rear bottom window covered. I'm not sure on the fleet number
