Earlier today X12 & X70 were travelling the whole of Bromford Lane to the Fox & Goose left onto Coleshill Road to the Hunters Moon then normal line of route outbound. Reverse diversion inbound that was at 11am this morning & on my at back from shopping I saw a gritting truck going down Chipperfield Road around noon @Jack
Thanks for the confirmation @Squiz1971

YVW, it seemed weird seeing an X12 branded Platinum bus passing the Tesco's this morning

Looks like the 80, 98 & X64 are back on their normal line of route today.

Doesn't seem like the drivers are aware of all the original stops though.
Local Routes: 002, 39/39A, X21, 46, 76.
Localish Routes: 18, 23, X22.

So a couple of the previous batch are to be modified too? I thought it had been previously posted that retro fitting other Platinums with the smart hybrid technology would be difficult as the latest batch had been built to incorporate sufficient space in the engine compartment to accommodate the new technology, whereas previous batches hadn't.

Sorry , my mistake 6855/6, then6859~92 then 6857/8

Why are those two being kept until last if you don't mind me asking?

Could be to assess MPG and fuel efficiency between hybrid converted examples and regular engine examples

That doesn't explain why it's those two specifically though. Surely you can leave any until last if that's the case.

Correct, and those two have been chosen, so what's the problem?

If anyone's interested.

5514 was on there too earlier, it's pretty standard for there to be a non platinum on every day anyway, as well as price branded platinums.
