I know deckers are becoming more commonplace on the 29 now, and are the norm on Sundays, but first time in a long while that I've seen a Trident on there; 4179 currently on a 29E to Northfield.

I haven't been over there in the week since the changes, is it still mostly B7RLE operated in the week or has it converted to Double Deck.

Seems to be both singles and doubles. Although I've only seen one decker on there, the rest have been B7RLEs

Yes, I'd say a double decker in the week is still noteworthy, it's mainly still B7RLEs. Not been around much to notice, but I'd imagine with the reduced frequency that these can get very full at peak times or if one is running slightly late.

Nevertheless, I find with 'excess'(?) B7RLEs, a few more have appeared on the 24... Not such a good mix - especially with service changes. Almost always full from Moor Street. Wasn't this packed when buses still left from Colmore Row, imo. Would rather a decker for these journeys, tbf - but you can't win them all! :P

Despite this, I find the new route very useful :D. I quite like the Smallbrook Queensway stop (I've been using it *almost* everyday, since the changes.), as it also accommodates the 16/A services, (two of) my local routes.- and whilst on the topic of new stops, the stop on Livery Street is not too far from my other connections (the 101, on SH1)

Whatever time they follow a PN 9 or a 140/141 from Quinton

Re: 70/73 interworking

Would it not make more sense for inbound 70s to turn onto Moor Street Queensway and terminate there, so the buses can just do the loop of Carrs Lane and Albert Street to get to the 17 stop?
Because at the moment it's just another bus clogging up the "unload only" stop at the top of the Priory
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Saw a 70 this morning about 9:30 on Washwood Heath Road 417* displaying Solihull instead of Chelmsley Wood thought it strange a driver error on the blind scrolled to the wrong destination unless not all BC buses have had the new destination programmed in. Can someone clarify if possible please  ;D ;)
