I sincerely hope so. Some of my earliest childhood bus memories are of the 62 Rednal route.

Well perhaps they're gonna do what I thought they were going to do anyway.

62 remains the same except it serves the Q.E via the Selly Oak bypass, put onto the Bristol Rota. the "X64" leaves city like the current 98/99 to the Q.E, then onwards Normal route to Weoley Castle and such, (insert 21 route here), renumbered the 25, say.

The 99 is just the same just numbered 26 for neatness or what have you. And maybe shipped off to Pensnett.

Or this 62 in question is a WMSNT or Diamond incarnation.
