That's a nice touch. Was Cannon Hill Park used for some sort of unveiling ceremony?

Yes, the name was applied this morning and his sister and a few friends came to BC to see it, so I took them to Cannon Hill Park in the bus to get some photos in the sun

Aww  :'(, it should've been an ALX400, but atleast it's on now.

No it shouldn't have been an ALX, It should be what his family wanted
His family wanted a bus that would turn up on the Pershore Road, and 4884 should still be around in 14 years time carrying his name

Stu

Wasn't the plan to have a Pershore Road branded bus named after him?
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath

All of those already have names from their 900/957 days

Tony, I have to ask l, if NX ever approached you about naming a bus after you due to your esteemed service at the company, which bus would you choose

The buses named after employees are mostly the ones who have achieved 50 years service

4191 makes an appearance on the 23. Currently inbound to Birmingham - seen Harborne High Street. Haven't seen a Trident on the 22/23 in a while.
