2146 on the 99 this morning. There are four defective  E200's at BC.

Liverpool Street

Just crunching the numbers for BC depot. Here is the findings:

There will be a total of 234 buses if BC doesn't lose any more Tridents with the arrival of the MMC's.

There is currently 221 buses in BC to date. (+5 MMC -2 Trident)

BC smallest buses make up the smallest portion of fleet, at only 4%, having 9 vehicles.

"Woah, watch that tail end swing"s gives with a strong 33 batch attain 14% of strength.

The tired 41's and 43 hundred Tridents take up a massive 24% of the fleet at 57 vehicles in total.

Close behind is the "like shit off a shovel" 44 hundreds, 45 find a home at Central, giving it a respectable 19%.

My favourite 46 hundreds make up 11%, with 25 vehicles.

White and Green never to be seen (on the Bristol Road) make up 8% at 18 vehicles.

The newish E400's make up a proportion of the fleet, at 12% and 29 buses.

"Watch what you say, were always watching (and listening)"s newest arrival when fully delivered makes up 8% of the fleet, with an eventual total of 18 buses.

We can only accept the fact that BC will most likely lose a further 16 early Tridents with the arrival of the "spy who sacked me" buses.

All in all a somewhat interesting development of events are certainly materialising.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

I can imagine the remaining Spectra's and B6's can be seen off by Tridents.  B6 routes such as the 11, 32/33 see regular Trident operation so wouldn't be a problem for Tridents to take their place on these routes.

Those E200s really are a complete bag of shite.

Anything further on the rumours that the 99 could move to PE?

I guess the Pensnett "reserve" fleet could be scrapped/moved, depends how many reserve fleet buses are currently parked up there

If the 99 moves are BC going to be getting another service

I suppose sending Tridents to Wolverhampton to see off the Spectras also standardises the fleet over there.
