824 - 140

Another route to add to the last along with the 241.

Interestingly i saw 4299 on the 241 at Halesowen this morning. Do the WB journeys operate during the school holidays?

I was talking about this with matt last week before he went on holiday and we thought WB didn't operate the 140/241 journey in the 6 weeks holidays.

Was going to ask where Matt was, it's very quiet without him.  ;D

I didn't think that they operated over the holiday, we will have to see what happens next week!
Pensnett is my local garage. Favourite bus of all time is Fleetline 6360 (KON 360P).

Matt should be back sometime on Saturday :) 2007 is still on the 59 tonight.

Also i saw 4538 going down Willenhall Road around 19:00 out of service so back from Helping fill in service gaps during the tunnel closures

Are Mercs unusual on the West Bromich 40 as i'm not a regular visitor to West Brom and i thought it was fully E200 operated

Last time i was in West Brom, you still saw the odd Merc on the WB40, not as regular as they used to be though. I suppose with the Diamond Competition, E200s will manage very well on there!

I've noticed  B7RLE's are becoming more usual on the X96 and also WN's 81 and 82

Think that now PE have spare Enviros, they seem to try and make the 141 100% DD, so it throws up 1 or 2 spare B7RLE and probably the X96 is the best to use them.

Same with WN i suppose, now they can't use DDs on the 81, they have to use Mercs or B7RLEs, they could have used B6s, but then you have that huge hill on Lodge Farm.

Which one was on the 82 then today? NZP and NZM were on the 16 so which one was on the 82-must mean 3 have transferred up temporarily then!!

Dylan4579

Would bendy-buses be feasible for the 82??

I've noticed (Well ages ago) that the PE B7RLE's names were just applied onto the side of the bus (hence why its faded) and WN examples were actully applied before delivery to WN garage!)
