Saw E001 parked up outside Moor Street Station at 10:45 this morning, E002 turned up moments later, both on driver training.
When are these likely to enter normal service?

When the drivers are trained, when NX launch the electric buses through a PR event and enough to cover the 6 route obviously....

Bus Times states that YW 49 extensions to JLR and Widney Manor will be withdrawn in April.
Also VOSA states that the replacement of the Diamond 108, will be numbered X15 and not X6.

Saw E001 on the Stratford Road at Hall Green crossing the 11 route, heading towards Shirley at 15:30 while I was on 6893.

It only does 3 journeys each way doesn't it? Will they run all day or continue to be peak like the Walsall 936?

@Tony any idea what was up with the 2 and 3 this evening?

I left work in good time to catch the 3 due at Auckland Road at 17:45 but it never turned up - I was at the stop at 17:39 as I know it sometimes does come a couple of minutes early. The bus app wasn't working at the time, but when it came back on about 5:50 it was showing the 3 to Yardley Wood as arriving in 10 minutes. It stayed between 10-11 minutes for about 10 minutes, then started counting down, but never arrived, though 6943 did go past me Not In Service.

To add insult to injury, the 2 that was scheduled for 18:15 was counting down as expected, then about 18:13 the app was just showing the timetabled departure, and that too failed to arrive. But to be fair, while waiting for the 3, I did not see the 3 coming in the opposite direction towards city, which would have become the next 2 outbound.

In hindsight, I was expecting the 3 that was counting down on the app to not arrive, or to be running Not In Service, so I really should have just gone with my instincts and got the 5 instead.

I'm not really complaining or moaning, would just like to understand what happened. These two services are only using three buses between them at present, so for two to be missing is a bit odd.

Not really. I got no emails about any problems. I can see 7533 40 minutes late at one point then getting swapped for 7529 outside the garage then turned short to put it back on time, but I've no idea what caused the problems

4920 enjoyed a day out on the 2 and 3 today

Looking forward to a bit of nostalgia next week when presumably the Tridents return to these routes!
