Do Yardley Wood still do the afternoon trip on the 72? I ask as 4729 was on it, it came into Solihull but it left again for Chelmsley Wood just before 5pm. Or could it have been a loan?

John-when I was in Birmingham a few weeks ago I saw a Yardley Wood Trident at Chelmsley Wood in service. Unfortunately I can't remember if it was on a normal service or schools.
Don't judge me until you've walked in my size ten shoes.

If you scroll down on 4160's page (http://wmbusphotos.com/NXWM/4001-4224/4160.html) , it's a photo of it branded for the 21/29. When were these routes operated by YW garage? Or was 4160 not new to Yardley Wood?

The 21/29 used to be operated by YW in the 1990s/early 2000s, between June 1997 and May 2002 @MW .

Any idea where the driver relief point would be on the 21/29 when it was run by YW?

fleetline6477

I think the 21 and 29 interworked and the relief point was the 29's Northfield terminus which at that time was at the top of Bell Hill.

Tony

Reserve fleet 4132 & 4160 at YW for possible use if needed

Tony

4160 now out on the 18

4162 now also at YW

Damn I missed this! Are they still at YW or was this a one day emergency loan?
