Watch out for 4719 out on the 35 this evening, branded for the 35

Is anyone able to confirm what shade of blue this is? ;)

This one?

Ah thanks Tony, so it's THAT blue. Easily distinguishable from the 50, with which it shares a very busy section of its route.

Think NX have been using one of these to pick colours for their branding

Lol it's getting like that awful green that was put onto most routes as "branding" :P

I guess it saves money on producing colour coded network maps. The existing Network West Midlands maps are already tailor made.

Whilst appreciating that red clashes with some colours, I do wonder why they don't make more use of the options available like in the days of the 'spot' branding applied to the Presidents and early ALX400s, e.g. purple, orange, cream, silver / grey. Or what about a comeback for the brown that adorned the 94 branded T reg Mercs?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Blue... Again... Sigh...

Could be worse @Liverpool Street - Could be GREEN

Generic green rhombuses that didn't even match on either side of the bus let alone along the rest of the fleet!

The next branding should be PMS 316 because it is turquoise and looks pretty green!

I thought I was the only person to detest all branding......seems not.
Wait until these shiny new-liveried buses arrive in March and see how Long before they are officially vandalised.

2900

I asume the 50 service will gain new buses in a few months which will be using a different livery and thus different branding so the confusion with the 35 won't be an issue.

Liberator9

Saw one of the 35 buses with the new branding this afternoon - don't worry, they do stand out in comparison to the 50 buses. The blue is a darker royal blue shade, and is much smarter than the 50 branding. The fact the buses are in the vivid red also helps make them stand out in comparison to the faded red and light blue route 50 Enviro 400s.

I don't see what the problem is, the 900 and 957 are both different shades of green so why can't the 35 and 50 be different shades of blue?

I'd like to see the branding in full before coming to assumptions. As Liberator9 said, they're different shades of blue

Local routes: 12/A, 48/A

Nothing wrong with that, it looks nice and smart.
