For me pretty much 9 out of 10 NXWM drivers are reasonably friendly, only one or two who let the side down really, not a big fan of many YW drivers, think coventry has the best drivers all round as well as wolverhampton where they recognise me

In my experience PN and BC drivers are the nicest. Then again I have never been driven by a Coventry driver, or Bordesley (the only 2 garages I have yet to ride)

Well I should add that following yesterdays complaint I had a reply within hours this morning (and an attempt to call me directly but I was out) which at least reassured me that the driver had behaved inappropriately and it was being taken seriously, don't think I should say anymore but Kudos to the Customer Care staff. I was rather impressed with the speed of the reply, especially when I have heard stories of people waiting over a month in the past!
I guess if we are talking in terms of general garages, YW and WN have always seemed to be the friendliest to me but in saying that I've encountered a few friendly drivers from every garage at some point! I can't say much about Coventry as I've encountered "Mr Jobsworth" in the past there too a few years back but like I said I've seen friendly staff from all garages, I guess it is just pot luck!

BC have some absolutely fantastic drivers including one who is possibly the friendliest bus driver I have ever met saying good morning/afternoon to everyone and have a good day when they get off. One of the grumpiest was this guy who ignored this woman who clearly  wanted to get off who was ignored. Admittedly, she then slagged him off and i felt unsympathetic towards her when she started slagging the guy off cos he was polish. That was unfair but the driver is a grumpy guy. Having said that, another of central's drivers who is polish is really good so. I must say that FMR's drivers are the worst-some of the ones on the 143 were absolutely atrocious-they hated stopping in the birmingham border particularly on the 143 and hate taking centro passes, trying to say they arent valid when theyre not and really making you feel stupid in front of the whole bus. One did that to me once in a morning so then I had a go at them for stopping miles from the bus stop and when on another occasion I pressed the stop bell and it came up on the cab panel as I saw the red light or whatever on the verde and then he claimed I hadnt pressed it. I then said to him that it came up on the panel as I clearly saw it and then told him he needed a hearing/sight test and shouldnt be driving buses. However, the scariest driver has to be one of Thandi's ones as Ive mentioned on here before   seen here http://www.flickr.com/photos/ians-bus-tram-tube-pictures/8162232850/in/photostream/

he really was awful and drove like an absolute maniac. For some balance, one of the other drivers for whatever company this was-golden line i think-one of their other drivers was brilliant and so were travel express's and sandwell travels. The award for best customer service must go to some of birmingham coach's drivers they really did go the extra mile to help passengers and were all round nice drivers.

There is one like this at PN who I really like, Nath thinks he looks a lot like Sven Goran-Eriksson and I can see the similarity

There used to be a guy at Walsall back in the PTE days, that used to drive the 366's (as was) that was quite entertaining ISTR(I think he made the local media at one point?).

Think he used to sing to the passengers!

Wonder how long he lasted(if he did?) into WMT days?

There's a guy on the 35 who just before Christmas was whistling Rudolph the red nosed reindeer all throughout the journey lol
