Quite possibly, but doesn't mean Nathan4775 can't ask that particular question
Now in exile in Oxfordshire....

Sh4318

Technically, wouldn't the 97 have the longest board? Or do the evening journeys run on a different board?
Class 153, 155 and 156. The Super Sprinters
"Around the corner" routes: 21, 89
Local routes: 12/A, 48/A
Semi-local routes: 54, 80, 87

Most used routes in bold

Not really as the same bus would not run in the day and through the night

I expect 2 buses which finish duties earlier on in the day come back out to do the night 97 starting late evening and going back to garage early morning

Most Rail services often 'roster' a Unit/Locomotive to a specified service for several days. Is there a similar arrangement with bus services?...or does the driver take the 'first off the rank' so to speak? One other point, are there any plans to transfer 2154 from PE to CV?...  :-\ As  this is the only WM vehicle Iv'e not seen in service can anyone tell me how long I might expect  to wait around Dudley bus stn to see it?  thanks.
Mind the Gap.....?:-)

The all night boards come out around 01:00 and stay out until the end of the evening peak.

It's been at Coventry for a good few months now! Went over for type training before there new B7's arrived and never came back sadly, has been repainted into blue and the seats replaced with standard issue

Liverpool Street

Longest board I've seen was 63-04 before I retired.

I think it was 0401 out of garage (or was it book on?)
Then 16-odd bristol road trips from what I recall, and back in depot for 24-something or other.

Crazy, its tank must be dry by then.

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

You're talking about 2153 Matt. 2154 is still at PE.

9/01 is much longer than that, as I have already explained, see a previous post in this thread
