There was also a red Scania on the 1 yesterday, but it was too far away to ID.

So is that 2 at Coventry yesterday?

Since I couldn't ID, I don't know, but it would be odd for a vehicle to go 16a -> 1, unless the vehicle was covering late-running workings perhaps.

There seem to be loads of Scanias on the 5 lately!

1866 was on its old stamping ground of the 20 today with its red front.

PB have been very lazy as yesterday a lot of passengers put £1.80/£3.70 in because the Coventry fares are still there under the drivers door so customers assume  the fare was £1.80 max
EVen all the coventry promotional posters are still there and the passenger information at the top

How few passengers actually take notice of those cab door stickers I very much doubt many put £1.80 / £3.70 in.

I had to do a few trips on one of the buses and i agree here but is a bit annoying maybe because the driver issues £1.70 ticket in place
Was about 20-30 on the 5 trips I done that put that  amount in

Coventry fares have been lower for as long as I can remember.

A question
Can you buy a £3.90 daysaver on a Coventry bus if you wanted to then use the 900 to Birmingham, or can you do it on a Coventry £3.70 daysaver (Or is this only valid to Meriden)?

Are these still in service at Coventry or are they in the process of been prepared for WM?

JPC

Yes, £3.90 Regional ticket can be purchased on NXC buses, the £3.70 Coventry ticket only permits travel between Coventry and Meriden on the 900.
