As for the 100 route, looks like this will be the Shuttle Bus service mentioned on here by Solihull MBC whilst the roadworks are happening on Chelmsley Road:

What's the 100 Chelmsley Wood route I wonder?

No idea, had a look on Google Earth & you could walk between the two termini, Conway Road is by North Solihull Sports Centre

Quite.

I love the 'limited stop' description, Conway Road (assuming a direct route) is one stop from the Wood....

Not more changes on the (Dudley Road) 82/87/89? Can anyone in the know at NXWM tell us what these are, whether or not they're temporary changes because of the Queensway tunnel closure? My elderly parents rely on the 89 and every time there's a change of route or timetable, its reliability and punctuality goes out the window just when they were settling down again.

Details of these are now on the Network West Mids site. Notepanel was correct in that a number of these changes - for the 7, 46, 82, 83, 87, 89 and 126 - are due to tunnel closures. Most of the other changes are for summer timetables. As suspected, the 23 isn't withdrawn so that cancellation is just to include it on the same registration as the 22.

Any idea about route 100?

One thing Daimler Mercedes Benz are good at is producing excellent Diesel engines, I do miss the sound of the 0405n for all its faults you couldn't knock that 12 litre engine.

Rat, it's listed as Chelmsley Wood circular and looks like it's the temporary shuttle bus mentioned by D10 in his post further up the thread.

Agreed. I rely on the 89, reliability wise, it's probably the best it's been in years, it's a well settled and established route, hopefully these changes won't stop that

Would which garage would run the 100 route seeing as East Birmingham has no local depot any more?

BC surely as it can be an extra duty piece with the 97?
