Today - was meant to be a Class 156 bash, but East Midlands Trains had other ideas, I'm not one to complain about a Class 158 though just turned out to be a sprinter bash with a few voyagers and for good measure

Diamond 20716 - 295 - 12:43 Worcester to Stourport

What's wrong with 4093 when stationary? Went on it recently and have no complaints.

when?

It's been off the road having repairs for a few weeks, that's why it was late moving to WB

I said when, not where.

Major chassis welding for one thing

Stu

Went over to my parents today and it seems me and the 120 fell out today, though I did get reacquainted with some 'old friends' lol

957 from Kathleen Road to Moor Street Queensway (only because the 900 was late  :-[)
Despite the 957 driver's best efforts (looked like he was running late too!), I was unable to connect with the 12:05 120 from Colmore Row, despite getting to the stop at 12:05 (its usually a couple of minutes late any other time I catch it!)
So rather than wait for the next 120, I thought I'd take the scenic route and jumped on...
X10 to Bearwood Interchange - Crimson Trident, not a bad ride, but being a limited stop service will really benefit from onboard audio-visual announcements, though that still wouldn't have helped the poor woman with the pushchair who obviously didn't realise this as the bus raced past three stops before she could get off.
48 to Londonderry Queens Head - despite the new paint job and retrimmed seats, memories of catching these Omnilinks everyday on the 37 came flooding back.

So after a few hours having dinner and stuff with the family, I set out to get the 18:08 120 from Warley Road back into city. Nothing was showing on the app at 18:05 (only timetabled info) so I thought I'd wait anyway. I waited another 10 minutes, then it was showing 24mins for the next one.
So I ended up back round at the Queens Head and on another 48, again an ex-AG Omnilink, to Bearwood Interchange and straight onto...
9 to Birmingham, which I nearly missed as it was right behind a 126. This must have been running late too, as the driver was pretty much flooring it all the way to Colmore Row
Finally, onto a 957 back to Kathleen Road, and again a common theme of the day, the driver must have been running late as we flew through Digbeth and Small Heath Highway, only getting held up slightly at Poets Corner; Moor Street Queensway to Kathleen Road in less than 15mins is not to be sniffed at!  :D
My locals:
2 - Birmingham to Maypole | 3 - Birmingham to Yardley Wood
11A/C - Birmingham Outer Circle | 27 - Yardley Wood to Frankley
76 - Solihull to Northfield | 169 - Solihull to Kings Heath
