All I'm going to say is NXWM are going to loose money on Hayley green- halesowen sector. Offering £2.50 on 4H with far nicer buses, and NXWM have the cheek to ask £2.20 for a single, on the most disgraceful vehicles they have. We are paying extra for other people to have even more moderner buses, and we're stuck with rusting Mercs!!

The diamonds branded 002 vehicles are nice but the mercs aren't that bad I have a fair few favourites

Apart from bus enthusiast, have you ever known a passenger say 'I'm not getting on that bus because it is the wrong type of bus I am going to wait for the other operator because his bus may be better (It could also be an old MPD on the 4H).

Putting brand new buses on a route will quite often attract new custom as will fare initiatives and other marketing tools, but once you have people waiting at a stop it is very rare for them not to get on the first bus that arrives going where they want to go that their money/pass will be accepted on
